Homework Help: u.s history

How did Montcalm's failure to consult with his Indian allies or to understand their expectations at the battle of Fort William Henry affect the future conduct of the war? ( I'm failing in my history class so can you please help me to understand. You guys are my only help because I tried other options and I just can't seem to get it with out your help.)
