Homework Help: math

how to solve this equation:

20 8 4 4 = 18

20 + (8/4) - 4 = 18 :)

I do not understand the 8/4 part on this answer? Please clarify Count .

8/4 = 2 if you add that to 20 you get 22 and if you then subtract 4 you get 18.
