Homework Help: math

i need help on a proof,
can anyone help?

please HELP!!!! me on the difference between 3/4 and 1/3????????

You have to find the common denominator of 3 and 4, which can be 12. The first fraction becomes 9/12 and the second becomes 4/12. 9/12 - 4/12 = 5/12.
