Homework Help: Jewelry

I have a string of black/grey pearls that have a gold 't' attached to the clasp.
Does anyone know what brand the 't' is associated with?

Bob Pursley has given you a good reference that lists two jewelry merchants that used the letter T to mark jewelry. Tiffany is not one of them. Tiffany used the characters "T & Co." in the 1800's, but not T by iself.

Since many grey/black pearls come from Tahiti, the "t" might mean Tahitian.
