HI

I have no idea what's Alternative energy source .

Can anyone help me in giving me a defintion for it

An alternative energy source is an additional one that is not being used already. It depends on what source is predominant or currently being used. In cars, gasoline is used as the main energy source. An alternative would be alcohol derived from corn. In constrast to using coal or water power to generate electricity, wind or solar power would be considered alternative sources.
