Homework Help: Math

Simplify. (5x2 + 3x - 7) - (x2 - 7x + 4)

Simplify. (5x^2 + 3x - 7) - (x^2 - 7x + 4)

distribute - sign to get
-x^2 +7x -4
put on top of one another and add

5x^2 + 3x - 7
-x^2 + 7x - 4
-------------
4x^2 +10x -11
