I have to write a 7 pgs essay about the social problems during the Industrial Revolution according to the book "Frankenstein". I don't know what topic should I choose to write about.

Focus on who was making money and who was being exploited, the conditions of both groups(food, housing, education, health care, disability and elder care....

I am not fermilliar with the book you are focusing on so I can only be vague at best. :)

This site on Frankenstein can help explain the themes and motifs. It will also give you an overview.

To choose a specific topic for your essay about the social problems during the Industrial Revolution according to the book "Frankenstein," you can consider focusing on the following aspects:

1. Class inequality: Explore how the Industrial Revolution widened the gap between the social classes, with some individuals amassing wealth while others were exploited and marginalized.

2. Working conditions: Discuss the hazardous and exploitative working conditions faced by the working class during the Industrial Revolution, such as long hours, low pay, lack of safety measures, and child labor.

3. Living conditions: Examine the poor living conditions endured by the lower class, including overcrowded housing, unsanitary environments, and inadequate access to basic necessities like food, healthcare, education, and elder care.

4. Social injustice: Analyze the injustices and inequalities faced by marginalized groups during the Industrial Revolution, such as women, people with disabilities, and the elderly. Explore how their rights and well-being were neglected or disregarded.

By focusing on these key areas, you can develop a comprehensive analysis of the social problems highlighted in "Frankenstein" during the Industrial Revolution. Remember to support your arguments with specific examples and evidence from the book to strengthen your essay.

Regarding the format for a 3.5 essay, it's important to note that an essay typically consists of an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Each paragraph within the body should focus on a specific point or argument related to your chosen topic. Start each paragraph with a topic sentence, followed by supporting evidence and analysis. The conclusion should summarize your main points and provide a closing statement.

The resources I provided earlier should offer guidance on essay formats. Be sure to review them for a more detailed understanding of essay structure and organization. Good luck with your essay!
