Homework Help: math,algebra

can someone correct this for me.

Directions: Insert grouping symbols in the proper place so that the given value of hte expression is obtained.

5-3* 2 + 8 * 5 -2 ; 28

My answer: 5-3*2+8* (5-2)

(5-3)*2 + 8*(5-2)
= 2*2 + 8*3
= 4 + 24
= 28

Thank you that makes more sense
