Homework Help: GRAMMER

Posted by KATHY on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 9:14pm.

Does this sound ok for a subject verb agreement? Either the interviewer or the committe members usually begin by asking simple questions.

It's correct, yes.

The subject "members" (plural word) is nearer the verb, so the verb needs to be in plural form.
