Use the Substitution method to solve the system of equations.

x + y = 10

y = x + 8

follow the same principle for the first one and u'll get it

u already have

y = x + 8

Subst. that in the first eqn and just follow up from there

x=9

?

That is correct. x = 9.

so then what does y equal??
