I am revieing for a test these ar teh ones I can't figure out?
**the choice simple - complex or compund
1. even the air must have smelled different that long ago.
2. if you could travel in time, would you go to the time of the dinosaurs?

a complex sentence has a independent and dependent clause.
When I saw what you have done, I was happy.
Independent clause: I was happy.
Dependent clause: When I saw what you have done. It needs I was happy to make it a complete sentence.
The dependent clause is introduced by either a subordinate conjunction such as although, while or because or a relative pronoun such as who or which.
so in this case it is When.

complex - two clauses: independent (this is clear evidence) and dependent (that plants ...)
