Homework Help: Ap chem question 2 related to the first question

Calculate the volume of gas you would expect to be evolved in X mol of magnesium were reacted with an excess of HCl at standard conditions.

Mg + 2HCl ==> MgCl2 + H2
1 mol Mg will produce 1 mol H2 gas; therefore, x mols Mg will produce x mols H2 gas at standard conditions.
