My answer:The pants looked much more presentable after ironing out all the wrinkles.

3.The police chief posted the mandate against hubcap theft on Monday afternoon.
My answer:On monday afternoon the police chief posted the mandated against the hubcap theft.

4.Until the beef has been rubbed with garlic oil,do not put it into the skillet.
My answer:Until you have rubbed the beef with garlic oil,do not put it into the skillet. or correct as original sentence is.(which one am i correct on).

5.He found his glasses crawling under the couch.
My answer:His glasses were under the couch or He found his glasses under the couch.(I'm not sure)

My answer:His glasses were under the couch or He found his glasses under the couch.(I'm not sure) Your second sentence is better because it contains more facts from the original sentence. You could also say -- He found his glasses while he was crawling under the couch.
