Homework Help: math

Posted by LIndsey on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 2:08pm.

If you swim 2 miles in 40 minutes, what is the unit rate?

If you use distance=rate*time, then rate =distance/time
So 2mi/40min or simplifying to 1 mi per 20min
Can you convert this to mile per hour?
