i know the five steps to division are divide,multiply,subtract,carry,bring down,but I forgot the addition rules.

Step 2: Arrange the numbers vertically, aligning them by place value. For example, if you are adding two numbers, make sure their ones place is lined up, the tens place is lined up, and so on. This helps to keep track of the places while adding.
Step 3: Start adding the digits from the rightmost place value, which is usually the ones place. Add the digits together and write the sum below the line.
Step 4: If the sum of the digits is greater than 9, carry the value of the tens place to the next place value, which is usually the tens place. Write the carried-over value above the line in the appropriate place value.
Step 5: Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each subsequent place value, moving from right to left until all digits are added.
Once you have added all the digits, the final sum will appear at the bottom of the column. Remember to include any carried-over values if necessary.
