Homework Help: plot (conflicts)!!!!please help me!!!!!!!!!!

i need help with internal & external conflicts.i dont understnd them.i probaly just need a few examples from a book.i just finished reading speak by laurie halse anderson,which is a good book.well,i have to find 5 passages that reflect on the novels main internal or external conflicts.so if you can help me i would really appreciate it.thank you.

internal= when a person is fighting with his/her own thoughts (e.g. an insecure person)

external=when a person is vs. a person/nature/animals ect.

could u help me in return?
