Homework Help: Punctuating Sentences check please

The rainbow stretched across the sky from the ice cream truck to the house down the lane.

Between the sixth and seventh floors of the building in the stairwell over in the corner.

Punctuating Sentences I am not sure if I did them correctily would someone please check for me and explain to me what i missed

The rainbow stretched across the sky from the ice cream truck , to the house down the lane.

Between the sixth and seventh floors of the building ,in the stairwell ,over in the corner.

The first sentence is correct as originally written. No comma is necessary in this sentence.

The second group of words is not a sentence. To complete it, you need to tell what happened; all you have is the location, but no subject or verb.



the second sentence would be better if it was
The ball bounced between the sixth and seventh floors of the building in the stairwell over in the corner.



Yes. That makes it a sentence. And it's punctuated correctly.

My answer: For the seventh time, the package will be mailed Monday.
2.Friday nights at the diner were always busy, I prefer the activity.
My answer: I prefer the acitivity at the diner on Friday nights because it is always busy.

what is the correct punctuation that should be used for this sentence?

With five gallons of gas.

Friday nights at the diner were always busy, I prefer the activity.

My car was not running right with five gallons of gas therefore, I had to fill it all the way up.
