That would depend on what grade you are in. If you are in ninth or maybe tenth grade and under it sounds fine, but if you are above that age range I would suggest making it sound more professional and convincing if you really want a good grade.

6th grade math
Ok.. for #4, i was trying to show that i subtracted 3 from both sides; #7, I was trying to show that I multiplied both sides by 3; and #8 was trying to show that I added 6 to both sides. I agree that I like how you showed it in #8. Thanks Reiny!
